It was a magical, breezy spring evening and I’m grateful I could capture these beautiful moments of one of my favorite families! I came to find out later that the date of our session was also their wedding anniversary!
People often ask when is the best time to do senior sessions. The answer is: it’s up to you! DO you have a deadline for yearbook or rush pictures? Do you prefer fall weather or spring? I do senior photos in all seasons! I’ve even done them in June for some that simply didn’t have time to do them before graduation. Just make sure to reach out at least a month in advance so we have time to plan your session!

There is also a good variety of landscaping and of course, the beautiful San Antonio river. What do I wear for my senior session? It’s such a common question and this post has some great tips to plan what to wear for your senior session! I often tell boys to plan a casual outfit, a dressier outfit and something that speaks to their interests or the college they plan to attend. Accessories like a hat can be a great prop for photos because you can wear it, hold it, or set it down next to you. Riley chose to skip the dressy option, but instead just bring his college t-shirt and a flag. I want your session to be a reflection of your personality, so you feel comfortable!
