What a joy it was to meet this family! They were funny and sweet and relaxed, despite the fact that they were moving the next day. You would never guess!

It’s a small world, sometimes. This family found me online just by searching for a San Antonio Newborn Photographer, and we later discovered that we happen to have a mutual friend in common (whom I have also taken Newborn photos for). It is always fun to make a connection! It was so fun getting to know them and incorporating the family dog into the session.
I usually try to do Newborn Sessions within the first 2 weeks, but I’ve had some great luck with older newborns this summer. Baby Charles was about one month old during his session and it couldn’t have been smoother! And so fun to photograph in his awesome mid-century modern nursery.
Miller was born just before Christmas, so we couldn’t resist doing some Christmas themed photos for his Newborn Session. I was so excited when his Mom showed me the plaid bow she bought for the shoot. It was perfect – Miller was just like a perfectly wrapped little gift.
You’ll always remember that first week at home with your brand new baby. It is always so special doing a newborn session for a family’s very first baby. It has been so nice getting to know this sweet young couple through family, maternity and newborn photo sessions.
