The Cardet and Vega families are one big, beautiful, blended, extended family. The best part of my job is meeting families from far and wide. This was a rare opportunity when all family members were in San Antonio together and I was honored to be able to capture them all together. Extended family sessions are so special! It takes a little time and coordination to make them happen but it is so worth the effort!

Extended Family Sessions always make me happy! It is not always easy to gather the family together, but what a treasure it will be for the family to have these memories. We spent a lovely afternoon by the river and played with their doggies. It did not feel like work at all. ????
Extended Family Sessions…. I love them! It was Mom’s birthday and her wish was to have family photos with both of her daughters. What a special treat to have these memories preserved. Fun fact: when I first met this family, we did a session with just the adults. Now, a few years later there is a new baby and a toddler in the family too!
Did you know that I offer a First Year Package for babies? You can choose the 4-month + 8-month + 1-year session, or the smaller package with 6-month + 1-year session. Baby William’s family chose the first package, so I was able to document the baby phase at 4-months and now at 8-months when he can sit up on his own and stand up assisted. He’s developing such a personality and really interacting with the world. It is such a fun age!
It always warms my heart to photograph large families! This family was all together for a friend’s wedding, so it was the perfect time for an updated family session.
