The Savage Family

Moms of young children are often behind the camera taking pictures of their kids and this Mom’s goal was to finally get in front of the camera with her family. It’s so important to schedule professional photos for this reason. I love being able to capture these special moments for families that they can treasure forever.

The Jacobs Family

The Jacobs family + one year session for baby.  Sessions with boys always have a lot of energy!  What I love about this session is that we could get so much variety from one location.  We spent most of the time on the trail in the woods and then moved over to the creek for the last portion of the session.  Getting your feet wet in the cool creek is always a good idea in the summer heat! 

The Rogers Family

It was a magical, breezy spring evening and I’m grateful I could capture these beautiful moments of one of my favorite families! I came to find out later that the date of our session was also their wedding anniversary!

The Rogers Lifestyle Family Session

During a lifestyle family photo session, I hope to put my clients at ease and let them interact naturally so that I can capture the little moments that happen along the way.  This family came to me with a carefree attitude and just played together and enjoyed the beautiful evening.  I lightly direct them about where to be and then ask them to not worry about looking at the camera.  That is when the magic happens.  This session was such a dream and I just love how the photos turned out.

The C Family

Family photo sessions can be much more active when you have young children, especially boys!  We spent a lot of time exploring the park and looking for flowers and even playing math games!  I am willing to do whatever works to keep the session fun and to keep the kids engaged!
