During a lifestyle family photo session, I hope to put my clients at ease and let them interact naturally so that I can capture the little moments that happen along the way. This family came to me with a carefree attitude and just played together and enjoyed the beautiful evening. I lightly direct them about where to be and then ask them to not worry about looking at the camera. That is when the magic happens. This session was such a dream and I just love how the photos turned out.
The Pearl Brewery holds a special place in this family’s heart. They got engaged on the Riverwalk and have captured all their family milestones at this special spot. I have loved being a part of it, documenting their sweet family as they grow! Hats off to big brother, Henry who was a total champ during this maternity session. He was all smiles!

I love how this job connects me with new people and old friends as well. Ryan is the daughter of one of my high school classmates. It was so fun to meet her and see her dad and his wife too. Ryan is not only drop-dead gorgeous, but an incredible scholar and athlete too. She is headed to the A&M Engineering program next year and her high school volley ball team recently won the state championship!
Family photo sessions can be much more active when you have young children, especially boys! We spent a lot of time exploring the park and looking for flowers and even playing math games! I am willing to do whatever works to keep the session fun and to keep the kids engaged!
